Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 11, 2026
1. Our commitment
Men From Scratch is for men who are starting over. That includes men who use screen readers, keyboards, voice control, and magnification. Our target is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA on menfromscratch.com. It is a target, and we keep working toward it and fix what we find.
2. How we tested
On October 11, 2026, we ran the axe-core 4.10.2 automated checker on every page of menfromscratch.com at a desktop width of 1440 pixels and a phone width of 390 pixels. It tests against the WCAG 2.0, 2.1, and 2.2 Level A and AA rules. Every page came back with 0 violations. We also checked text contrast, heading order, image descriptions, link names, the skip link, keyboard focus, and 200% zoom.
Automated tools do not catch everything. This statement is not a promise that the site has no barriers.
3. What we built in
- A Skip to content link at the top of every page.
- Text that meets a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1, and at least 3 to 1 for large headings and buttons.
- A visible focus outline on links, buttons, and form fields.
- A menu, buttons, and links you can use with a keyboard.
- Tap targets of at least 44 by 44 pixels on phones.
- A layout that stacks into 1 column on phones and still works at 200% zoom.
- A cookie banner you can use with a keyboard.
4. Known limits
- The group runs on Skool, which is a separate platform. We do not control how accessible Skool is. If you hit a barrier there, tell us and we will pass it along.
- Our free video and the weekly Q&A recordings may not have captions or transcripts yet. If you need one, ask us and we will get you one.
- We hide our email addresses from spam bots with a small script. If your browser or assistive technology blocks scripts, the address will not show. Turn scripts on for menfromscratch.com and it will appear.
- The cookie banner and the Cookie Policy come from a plugin called Complianz. We do not control its code.
5. Report a barrier
If something on this site does not work for you, email us at . Tell us the page, what happened, and what device or assistive technology you use. We reply within 5 business days.
If we cannot fix the problem right away, we will tell you what we are doing about it and find another way to get you what you need.
6. Standard we follow
We follow WCAG 2.2 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). We review this statement every time we change the site.
